About this Blog

This is a blog about the world we live in.  I try my best to understand what is going on.  I am not a specialist; my writing comes from having done a lot of different things - architecture, planning, teaching, trade unionism, writing books, and writing, acting in and directing plays.

The more I experience, the more I see things connecting up, and the more I'm convinced we need a revolutionary change in the very basis of society. I hope, if not for my wife and me, at least for my children and grandchildren, something more creative than the environmental degradation, the permanent war economy and the gross inequality which today's politicians and financial exploiters impose on our world.

The world and its people are wonderful - they deserve better.
